Comparison | Till Your Soil

The Metaphor Photo by  Ilona Kovalkova  on  Unsplash You may have rich, bare soil, while another has a garden of roses.  Your soil is immensely valuable .  Tragically however, when you compare your soil to another’s admirable roses, you forget how valuable your soil is. You lose sight of what could come of your soil should you till it— nourish it, fertilize it, remove any weeds present, and sow good seeds.  The roses and soil can be likened to another’s life and your own.   Comparing your life to another’s blinds you from the limitless possibilities of what your life could be like should you nourish your soul, cease self-hatred and any other thing that is unfavorable for growth and flourishing in all aspects, and sow good seeds.
