Hello, I’m Light . Welcome to— Many Christians are mentally in bondage, avoiding sinning solely out of a fear of judgement and eternal damnation. Accepting our freedom, we have yet to. I suppose it is because we are of the belief that this is the intent of God.  Upon pondering this and considering the nature and character of God as love, I have resolved that I do not believe that the aforementioned is God's desire or intent for those who follow Him. A loving God, I reckon, would invite us to obey after having found sound reason for and benefit in obedience rather than merely in fleeing from a source of fear like wrath. (Wrath has already been poured out on Christ; there is none now to be received for those who believe in Him). Don’t you reckon so, too? I know you may not like this initially if you have a fear of dependency on others, but I love you too much not to share this post with you. All that I share here is based on my personal experiences with others and God.  Allow me to begin: A significant portion of your healing can only be experienced through openness to others. Your openness will allow healing that is otherwise unattainable. Thus, your level of openness is a determinant of how far you go in healing. During the process of healing, God sends those whom He knows have the grace to handle you, your flaws and all. (If they're not already in your life, rest assured that they'll be here soon.) Recap: Yahweh, the God of Israel, is the “Light” the People of Light follow— the Light of the World.   His radiant presence expels darkness in the mind, heart, and home.  Sadly, for various reasons, the God of Israel is widely misunderstood, even among His own people.   Myths about God's nature are widespread and diverse.  Normally, they are gradually cleared in relationship with Him.  Though misperceived as prideful,  resentful, uncaring, oppressive, silent, impatient and stern, He is humble, blameless, understanding, joyful, can be spoken to transparently, responsive, pure in heart, a true “friend”, liberator, giver of peace and rest, and One who dispels and hates hate.  Oftentimes, His nature completely contradicts what we human beings think of Him, and His desires contradict what we think they are. “Render your heart, not your garments.” Nonetheless and fortunately, God remains who He is, unlimited by limited human understanding. Story Time: “Journey to Isaiah 44” One day, the Lord asked me to turn my phone off.  As He spoke, He gave me this vision:  In its main frame was a serene scene.  A Bible was laid open on my bed.   Soft light streamed in like white mist through my nearby window.  A distinctive peace visits me whenever I read the Word of God.  From the vision, this peace emanated.  Though my phone was not in the frame, I had surely received the Lord's message.  The signal must have been bad, though, as I had only received this much:  “Read verses... of chapter... of... in... of the Bible.”  With a smiling heart (and surely not without fighting my desire to continue messaging), I decided to do as He  requested of me.   I abandoned my sweet, dying phone on my parents' dresser to retrieve my Bible.  Upon entering my room, I teetered to a halt.  On which topic did the Lord want me to read?  “Should I read about something good...

In this day and age, it is unlikely for one to be unaware of the suffering being experienced globally.  We all hear the Earth as she groans.  To preserve our sanity, many of us have covered our ears. Situated within suffering is a peculiar body of people whose hope appears inextinguishable.  Within the Earth grimacing at chaos rises a contrasting melodic sound.  With one voice, the people sing songs of joy and triumph, shifting the atmosphere.  Their words and hands share healing.  Their stories of enduring dark pasts inspire.  Even in dire heartache and grief, their recovery is sure.  Their peace remains unable to be permanently stolen.  Despite the steady decline of society’s circumstances, this people declares resolute, “It is well”.  If they have had and are having the same human experiences as the rest of the world, how do they live beyond the suffering?
