'Talk to Me' (A Poem)

“Talk to Me,”
Jesus empathetically replied
To a disconcerted mind;

Ever since,
Prayer has been
My favourite pastime.

Nothing beats prayer.

I try to talk to Him about everything,
Openly and unfiltered.

He handles me well.

Honest communication between hearts 
Destined to be intertwined,
Helps me to accept irrevocably that 
Abba is the safest place to unwind.

I encourage you to do the same.
No matter what's on your mind,
Jesus says,

        “Talk to Me.”

In this day and age, it is unlikely for one to be unaware of the suffering being experienced globally.  We all hear the Earth as she groans.  To preserve our sanity, many of us have covered our ears.
