Spiritual warfare is an unseen reality of armed conflict in the realm of the spirit; one between the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of God.  “From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize].” — Matthew 11:12 AMP Like all wars, spiritual warfare involves violent attacks, plunder, weaponry and casualties. In this post, we take a look at the first phrase in the Word of God that explicitly reveals that God speaks; “And God said . . .” “And God Said…” “And God said, “Let there be light”;  and there was light.”   —Genesis 1:3 ESV Have you ever read the first chapter of Genesis in the Bible?   It is a beautiful and iconic story; the Story of Creation. Hello, I’m  Light .  Welcome to— In this Age of the Battle of Ideologies, abide in the Word. Abide in the Word of God, in the Son. Read the Word, and find Truth in Him. Allow the wisdom of the Word to be healing to your bones and refreshment to your soul. Allow the Word of God to seep into your heart in stillness instead of the words all around you. Align  and compare everything to the Word of God, looking at them side-by-side. Allow the Word, i.e. the Truth, and the revelation of the Word into which the Holy Spirit leads you, to be what you believe and share in freedom. Upon seeing each statement, ask yourself: “Is this truth? Does this align with God’s precepts? Do these words flow from God’s Spirit?” May the truth free, edify, affirm, still, guide, instruct, encourage, strengthen, and assure you. Hi, I’m Light! Welcome to— “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them from their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the deep (deathly) darkness and broke their bonds apart.” — ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭13‬-‭14‬‬ God is love; kind and patient by nature, withholding love from none and thus kind to all— including the wicked and the unjust. (Luke 6:35) But some who are wicked, no matter the great levels of exposure they’ve had to God’s kindness and goodness and grace and the opportunities they have had to receive God’s salvation, refuse to repent. God loves them anyway. Unconditionally.  God does not delight in afflicting anyone. (Lamentations 3:33) Yet, He breaks the pride of the wicked through suffering (Psalm 107:10-15) , so that we will cry out to Him and enter sweet dependency on Him in repentance. Its  aim isn’t to sternly and apathetically coerce you to develop a likability for pain or see suffering as innately good. Instead, it aims to encourage and inspire you to embrace suffering due to the good outcome it may have through its divine redemption. You are who God conceptualized you to be.  Do not wait for others to tell you who you are; they do not know. Your worth is attributed by God; attached to His thoughts and love for you. I am sharing this journal entry for a love-filled blessing of God to come upon you and many others and for the advancement of the Church, i.e. the Bride of Christ. It is necessary that I learn to differentiate between who I serve and those with whom I am meant to have a friendship.  On one hand, those I serve are purposed only to take of my fruit and drink of my water (which is a good thing— they are thirsty, hungry, and thus purposed and systematically positioned by God to be benefactors of my compassion and love for however many seasons they require and He wills). Dear Mommy/Daddy: Give yourself grace for not being able to give your children what you would like to.  You’d love to give to your children because you deeply desire for them to be provided for, emotionally healthy and whole.  However, you can’t give what you don’t have.  You're only able to give them what you do have. You’re unable to give your children anything if you have nothing yet, or have not yet born within yourself what you’d like to give.  It’s not that you won’t or don’t give them grace or love or financial comfortability— it’s simply that you’re unable because of present issues you’re facing birthed by your past.  You are not  to blame. Give yourself grace. If you want to invest in your children, whom I know you love, and raise them to be whole in soul, intentionally invest in you .  You won’t be able love them with all of you until you become willing to abide in a place of vulnerability, a requirement of healing. I believe that what we have termed 'Christianity', that is true Christianity-- Christlikeness is, in reality, humanity, an uncorrupted humanity, and the ideal and peak of its existence; that humanity, uncorrupted, is demonstrated in acknowledgement of God as Creator, and His exaltation.  To me, dependency on God is as human as the anatomy of homosapiens that He, in His omniscience, calculatively formed; as human as His image of justice, compassion and forgiveness within us and, colossaly regrettably by mankind throughout time, the carnal nature. Hi Love.  Welcome to “Light Writes”! “May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.  Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” — Ephesians 3:19 We can never fully understand God’s love (Eph. 3:19).  Nonetheless, we can seek and appreciate the understanding we do gain of it. A reflection of God’s love is demonstrated in the way He uses His sovereignty. He is able to do anything; to give you a desire to move in His Will without your consciousness of it, to shift anything into position, to bring two people into alignment, and yet He moves and shifts with grace and peace. His will and purpose prevail, and are unavoidable. This is apart of what characterizes His sovereignty.
